CYP2C19
HGNC ↗16 article(s) in the watch · Pharmacogenomics
CYP2C19 is a key drug-metabolising enzyme. Its polymorphism (loss-of-function *2/*3, gain-of-function *17 alleles) modulates the efficacy of clopidogrel, voriconazole, several antidepressants and proton-pump inhibitors (CPIC level A guidelines).
Drugs involved: clopidogrel, voriconazole, antidepressants (citalopram, escitalopram, sertraline, amitriptyline), proton-pump inhibitors
Recommendation: CPIC level A · RNPGx advised (antidepressants)
